I work closely with the wider Digital Experience sales organisation to support our customers across the retail, tourism, and hospitality verticals ensuring that we maintain a high level of customer satisfaction which ultimately leads to customer retention.

Why did you apply for Adobe’s graduate program, and why your chosen stream?

I was actually part of Adobe’s intern cohort of 2021 where I was also working as a Renewal Sales Specialist. I was lucky enough to be offered a position to stay on within the business, and even better, within the same team. Whilst I am still early in my career and not 100% certain of what path I want to go down, choosing to stay within the renewals team was an easy decision. In my role I get exposure to multiple areas of the business from solution consulting to finance, legal, customer success and many other streams.

What has been the highlight of the graduate program?

The highlight of the graduate program so far has been getting to volunteer time with the other graduates and interns in OzHarvest’s ‘Cooking for a Cause’. We were able to take time out of our schedules to bond together as a cohort whilst also making a difference for the community. This is one of the many activities that we have been able to participate in whilst being part of the graduate program, but this has been one of the most memorable.

What support did you receive that helped you thrive in your current role?

I have received support from numerous areas throughout the business since I started working in my role. Since I started taking up more responsibility, my manager and the other renewal specialists have been pivotal in getting me up to speed and ensuring that I can execute in my role effectively. The customer success team and product specialists have been instrumental in ensuring that I understand both the Adobe products and how they are used by our clients in order to understand what is important to them. There are plenty more people I could mention who have supported me since day one, but the Adobe ecosystem as a whole has come together to ensure that I can thrive in the work I do every day.

How would you describe Adobe’s work environment and culture?

Adobe’s work environment and culture are what make me love coming to work. Whilst there has been the shift towards hybrid work, the culture and experiences that I get from meeting people in the office are what keep me going in. With the numerous social events and activities to get involved in, it really helps to bring everyone together and create a sense of community.

On top of this, by far one of my favourite parts of working at Adobe is the Global Wellbeing Days. Every 6 weeks or so, all Adobe staff across the globe share in a day off to focus on wellbeing. Getting some time back to focus on other things outside of work or to just chill out is such an amazing benefit.

What is your advice to students and graduates who are wishing to join our programs?

My advice to students who are wishing to join the Adobe graduate or intern program is to be genuine. Being genuine is one of Adobe’s core values and is something that is prevalent among everyone that works here. It really comes down to just being yourself and everyone at Adobe embraces this quality.

Additionally, showing the desire and passion for why you want to work at Adobe is important when you are looking to join the business. Displaying to an interviewer not only the value that you can bring to the business but why you are passionate about joining Adobe, is something that will resonate.

Lastly, I would say to just get involved. Whether it be before applying for an Adobe program or if you are already in one, getting involved in events, activities or anything else is the best way to build your brand and your network.
